Storytelling is one of the world’s oldest ways of communicating information, providing a rich and abundant context for our understanding of the world. Stories and the people in them create a powerful connection as they link teller to listener and listeners to one another. In their shared life-long passion for film, Jim and Meesh have cultivated a common interest in that unique and wonderful way that films tell a story. Their affinity for storytelling and their enthusiasm for discovery, has brought them to this work. The documentary film, at its best doesn’t preach or lecture, but challenges the audience to make its own discoveries. Through revealing narrative, powerful visuals, and the compelling stories told by exceptional as well as ordinary people, the documentary ignites our imagination.
